Scout Dyke is a great trout fishery. Stocked with plenty of fish. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. £20 for a full day fishing and you can take two fish for that price. Great value. I would recommend. Note payment is by card only.

Been twice now and will go again. Largish Reservoir with interesting coastline and topology. There are shallows and steep drop offs; to 60 feet I am told. When buying my day tickets the club officials have been friendly, helpful and informative. The water is well stocked. Unusually, as well as good sized trout, I have landed Roach and Perch on the fly.
The environment is pleasant around the Reservoir, but expect weather up there.
